With nearly four years of in-house legal experience at the Islamic Development Bank, Me. El-Khatib assumed responsibility for managing the legal intricacies of numerous equity investments and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects across various member countries. This tenure has afforded him an extensive and unparalleled understanding of complex cross-border transactions.
His professional focus encompasses Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Finance, PPP, Islamic Finance, and Private Equity Funds. Me. El-Khatib’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his academic achievements, holding a Master’s Degree in “Internal and International Business Law,” with a thesis on the “Settlement of Disputes under FIDIC Contracts, Red Book (First Edition 1999).” Additionally, he boasts the designation of a Certified Public Private Partnership Professional, further solidifying his dedication to legal excellence and leadership in the field.
